Openization.org is a blog about open ICT ecosystems, open standards and open source.
The concept of openization was coined (to our knowledge) by The Open ePolicy Group, which is a team of international experts drawn from
the public, private and non-governmental sectors who have come together
to consider the creation of open ICT ecosystems. The Group is hosted by the Berkman Center for Internet & Society
at Harvard Law School, and is sponsored by IBM Corporation and Oracle
Corporation. The Group has produced a "roadmap" that governments and their industry
partners can use as a practical guide for their evolution to open ICT
ecosystems. The roadmap was published recently, and is available here: Roadmap for Open ICT Ecosystems.
In its own spirit, the Roadmap is open-ended. It lays the foundation for further work, and lots of debates. All members of the ePolicy Group have therefore been invited to guest blog here. Other guest authors are welcome too; contact John Gøtze.
